Guests are invited to enjoy a gastronomical experience inspired and aligned with the environment, where they will connect with the life of the farmers that surround Mil, their ancient customs and traditions, bordering the fantastic ruins of Moray at 3700 meters above sea level.
The journey begins with an approach to the Mullak’as-Misminay and Kacllaraccay communities, with whom they work the land. Guests will visit the cultivated fields and they will be able to observe the hundreds of cultivars that make Andean agriculture an activity of magic and culture. Have deep conversations, or talk about everyday life, and listen to stories of traditions and life at this altitude.
They go ahead describing different moments such as the botanical Route where guests will see a variety of native plants that, since ancient times, the locals have used for food and medicinal purposes, among others.
The experience invites guests to collect dyeing and aromatic plants, roots and wildflowers in the company of local experts who will explain their benefits and uses, and also connects guests with artists, collectors, producers artisans and their work.
They will then move to the Ferments and Distillates, a universe of drinks with a sense of place, prepared with inputs that tell the story of their origins and customs. A line of liquids designed to remain immersed in the Andean world.
As the culmination of this beautiful and illuminating journey, guests will arrive at the final destination: the gastronomic experience. Their tasting menu consists of 8 steps/ecosystems, dishes made with products from the MIL environment.
